Munajat

Oh Allah,
When Your servant loses his possessions you command him to say, “To Allah we belong and unto Him is our return” and You deliver his possession back to him.
Oh Allah,
You have lost this servant of Yours with his many sins.
Your servant asks You to say, “To Us do you belong and to Us is your return” and to deliver Your servant back to You.

Ya Rabb,
Why should I make duaa to You when You have decided the mercies You will grant me?

Why should I ask You for paltry things of this world–to ask you of such, is not deserving of Your Majesty.
Had it not been for Your command we would never have asked You, but would’ve praised You day and night.

Oh Allah, there is only one duaa worthy of asking of You–and that is Yourself.

Oh Lord,
The transgressors asked You for a miracle and you granted it to them
What miracle do Your servants than deserve? What miracles don’t they deserve ya Rabb?

Oh Allah,
I kept a praise of You hidden in my heart, too unwilling to speak my heart’s emotion.
You knew it to be so, and when I spoke it I gave You desired, and You gave me more than what I desired.

I apologize and with your servants it is always too late but with you it is never too early.

Oh Allah,
My whispers of prayer sound like the whispers of the wind. Make them as swift as the wind in their fulfillment.
