The Conquering of Shaytaan and the Self

I pray to Allah this will work.

Back a while ago, Muslim Matters featured a discussion regarding Muslim males and pornography. It was pretty interesting and there were numerous suggestions. One thing that came out of it was something that I hinted to in the discussion that I heard Muhammad AlShareef speak of. If you go to the link and scroll down to “5.NLP/Psychological Advice” you can read what the brother who has experience in the area of modifying behavior has to say. He expanded on what I said and showed me something I never thought existed.

Essentially he speaks about using certain NLP techniques to completely change your behavior and wipe out sin, Insha Allah. This has been in the back of my mind for a long time. Every Muslim has bad habits that keep him from attaining Allah’s pleasure and I am really really hoping that if this works out properly that you will find your dear brother Dawud Israel and others to be changed people for the better, Insha Allah. The gates of Heaven are always open but the climb seems intimidating to the lowly believer. The whole point of this is an attempt to make that climb easier and bring those gates in grasping distance.

I am going to implement the following technique called the Swish Technique. There are two links I am working with for now mentioned in the Muslim Matters article this one and this one. I’m totally new to this so I don’t expect miracles to happen instantly but I know that it can work so I want to give it a shot.

May Allah put baraka in it. Ameen.

Just imagine…never sinning…how close could you get to Allah? How many dreams you could fulfill…true freedom. Subhana Allah! 🙂

Subhana kallahumma wa bihamdik ash-haduana la illaha illa ant astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk. Ameen.
