New Film: Bollywood’s Badboyz

I made this video a long long time ago. I thought I would post it up in relation to my previous post about the film Awarapan.

PLEASE share and spread this video. It is directed at Muslims to encourage them to stop watching Bollywood. Pay close attention to the statistics and Quranic ayahs. And for the record it is not an attack on Hindus or India–just a critical look at the societal god of the Indian subcontinent: Bollywood.

WARNING: Music was unavoidable in the production of this.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this for future improvements! There are some cheesy parts and some of the commentary could’ve been better. This video is about 3-4 years old actually so I was still pretty young and knew very little about film-making. I originally made it for a website that really hasn’t come very far nor do I expect it to.

Subhana kallahumma wa bihamdik ash-haduana la illaha illa ant astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk. Ameen.

  1. Assalamualaikum,
I think its a great documentary. i think the title is cheesy. But i can’t find other cheesy stuff that u mentioned.

There are a few scenes that i dont understand why its there.
or some scenes that are very very important to explain, but there is no explanation.

i think if ur objective is to make people realize that watching bollywood is “poisonous to the mind”, u have achieved the objective.

although i would like to have more explanations and more warnings, but i think its great in the sense that u just explain few things and give a few Quranic verse, and u leave it to the viewers to ponder and think about it.

in a way, its “safe” because people will not feel u are imposing anything on them, its sort of an eye opener.
