SNEAKPEEK: New Software-Drops of Wisdom Gadget

There are few websites out there that come close to the quality of Drops of Wisdom. Simple, easy and so profound. Set this website as your homepage and you’ll get a regular surprise that will have a noticeable effect on you.

Drops of Wisdom is a part of the Project Nur network which is really a true gold mine of Islamic wisdom. I really liked this project and realized that it has a great deal of Dawah potential. A simple profound deeply spiritual quote over and over again has an effect on you. It’s like when you have the TV playing in your house and no one is watching, but everyone picks up something–only this time it’s for Islam and your own spiritual development.

I was not the first to contact brother Sadiq who runs Project Nur and alhamdulillah, many others have attested to the change that this has caused in their life. It’s so simple–it’s brilliant!

I am mainly of a Salafi education but Sadiq is more from a Sufi background. So this project is unique in that it shows how brothers in Islam can work together on something of this nature harmoniously and successfully! No silly arguments and time-wasting here–just PURE DAWAH! 🙂

So I wanted to get these out to the world and one idea we had was to create a gadget that would bring the quotations to your desktop. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah and a great deal of patience, we now have that almost complete. I will be posting the software once it is complete but for now here is a sneak peek of it running on a Windows Vista computer.
