A Role Model Muslim Woman and the new HalfDate Drive

Every once in a while there are some scenarios where there is a race against time. This is one of those stories. A story I think we should consider and see what amazing role models we have amongst us.

Muslim Writer’s Publishing is a Publishing house that has released some of truly amazing and fascinating books. In all honesty, I did not know about them until I heard about them at HalfDate.com. I knew of some of their books and intended on reading them but I did not know who was behind this effort.

Alhamdulillah, now I know.

Sister Widad is the publisher of these works and has done a great deal of work spearheading this project. The great thing about it all is that she is pushing Muslims to a higher level, one that says, “Yes we are better than you ever thought we could be!”

But Sister Widad has an ailing sickness. She has recently suffered two heart attacks and is sick with a number of other chronic illnesses. I can just imagine being in her position and how I would behave. But she is different and she is still struggling, as there is always a struggle to carry out and fulfill.

How can you help?

Visit HalfDate.com and give 5 minutes of your time to help out with this project. You do NOT have to donate money, just a few moments of your time and that is all. Insha Allah invite as many people as you can!

May Allah reward sister Widad and cure her illness, Ameen.

Subhana kallahumma wa bihamdika ash-haduana la illaha illa ant astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk, Ameen.

  1. very inspiring story, thanks for sharing.

  2. MashaAllah…truly inspirational.

  3. Thanks for blogging, I wish Muslims would see the value of Dawah by word of mouth.

As the prophet (SAW) said, “Protect yourself from the Fire with half a date, and if you can’t then a good word.”

Yep, thanks for your good word, may Allah reward you.
