BLOG-FEST: Everything must go!!!

For the longest time, I have these articles just sitting in my draft pile and you know, they are just kind of…problematic. Some of their content is troublesome and going to anger a number of people but I REALLY want to just say it and get it out of my system because they NEED to be said, while others could be grouped together to be an ebook…although a very incongruent one.

The solution: A 24-hour period of non-stop articles, no holds barred and lots of fun. These articles are written to be analytical and constructive and not related to activism–except that if people took these conclusions to heart, it could result in positive thinking among Muslims. They are going to be more sociological in nature and deal with some psychology or trends among Muslims. So yes, they will be a tad controversial and piss some (narrow-minded) people off, but hey, they will be truthful so I at least am not a liar! đŸ™‚

Anyways, today is Tuesday. The festivities begin tonight at midnight and will run all through Wednesday.

Subhana kallahumma wa bihamdika ash-haduana la illaha illa ant astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk, Ameen.

  1. e-book huh?

    – you know a journal on your dawah experiences with fake names might actually be really beneficial – it might inspire people to get in the dawah action – personally, I’m a bit too nervous to do dawah – i don’t know how hard or easy it is because I’ve never really seen it go down in the real world – it might be a good contribution.

The journal could also have your personal thoughts on why certain psychologies of muslims/non-muslims impacts dawah in different ways. It would be your blog – but more to the point and specific about the actual process of dawah with varying non-muslim personalities.

  2. oh yeah I forgot….

  3. Yes!

    That’s the spirat!
